I’m a health journalist in Brussels.
I am originally from the U.S. and now cover public health issues across Europe and the globe. I’ve been an independent journalist in Denmark and the Netherlands, and a staff reporter at news outlets in Washington, D.C., and Brussels. I specialize in reported features on how political and business decisions shape people’s health and lives.
I am a recipient of the European Press Prize’s migration journalism award, and I’ve won fellowships from the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, the National Press Foundation and the Solutions Journalism Network.
